Felis draconis
The Felis variety is very much like a domestic cat. It communicates through a plethora of mewling
and almost chirping sounds. Like domestic cats, the variety of coat patterns is nearly endless. The wing membrane
always corresponds with the base color of the coat. There is usually one other color for markings, though there seems
to be no actual limit. The natural colors, such as brown, white, and black, are more common then the bright colors,
such as green, blue, and red.

Felis grooms itself very thuroughly, so there should be no reason to bathe it, though some do enjoy a nice
cool dip on a hot day. The likes and dislikes of each dragon are different. A must is to daily check your dragons
scales for mites and parasites which and dig under the overlapping plates. If left undiscovered, these insecs cause
an irritating itch and then flaking of scales which will gradually get more serious. It is also a good idea to polish
the scales with a soft brush. Other than that, Felis is a hardy species which hardly gets sick.

Felis will eat just about anything, and cutlet cat food will work perfectly for them. They also enjoy
fish and chicken treats, though they will get overweight if you feed them too much.

As hatchlings, the Felis loves to play. If possible, it is a good idea to get more than one dragon,
though hatchlings will try to play with almost any other animal, and can often become the best of friends with totally different
species. They are very active and can become desctuctive if not given attention.
